How to Pass Your BIGO Live Audition on the First Try (Script + Checklist) 🎬✨
So you’ve decided to become a BIGO Live host (yay!)… and now the audition has you stressed. 😅
The good news: your audition is not a talent show, and you don’t need to be perfect. BIGO mainly wants to see that:
You’re a real person 🙋🏽♀️
Your camera, mic, and internet are good enough 📱🎤📶
You can speak clearly and hold a simple conversation 🗣
You understand basic rules (no driving, no nudity, no minors, etc.) 🚫
In this guide, you’ll learn:
What actually happens in a BIGO audition
How to set up your phone, lighting and background
Exactly what to say (with copy-and-paste scripts)
A simple checklist so you don’t miss anything ✅
How the BIGO Live Audition Works 🧩
For Honey Hive hosts in North America, the audition process is simple and handled mostly through your agency. You’re not doing this alone. 💛
Here’s how it works step by step:
Your agency sends you an official BIGO audition link on WhatsApp or email. 🔗
You click the link to start the audition process and read the instructions. 📲
Using your phone, you record a 30–60 second audition video following the script in this guide (name, BIGO ID, agency, date/time, content ideas, etc.). 🎥
When you’re happy with your video, you send it to your agency (usually through WhatsApp). 📩
Your agency then uploads your audition to BIGO on your behalf using the official portal. 🐝
BIGO reviews your audition and gets back to the agency within 48 hours with the result. ⏳
You don’t have to schedule a live audition or figure out the upload system yourself — your agency handles the technical side so you can just focus on recording a clear, confident video. 🌟
Before You Audition – Set Yourself Up for Success 🛠
Make sure you’ve got:
📱 Phone fully charged or plugged in
📶 Stable Wi-Fi (stand closer to your router if you can)
🎤 Clear audio (no loud TV or people shouting in the background)
🎥 Camera lens cleaned (wipe it with a soft cloth)
Lighting & background 💡
Sit facing a light source (window, ring light, lamp)
Avoid having a bright window behind you
Keep the background simple and tidy
Choose a quiet spot where people won’t constantly walk behind you
Keep phone in one place (don't move it around)
Personal appearance 💅
You don’t need full glam, just:
Wear something casual but presentable
Avoid clothes that break app rules (see-through, underwear, etc.)
Fix your hair so you feel confident on camera
What BIGO Wants to Hear in Your Audition 🔊
Your audition video should quickly cover:
Who you are – name & BIGO ID
Why you’re here – you’re auditioning for a BIGO agency
When you’re recording – today’s date, current time, and time zone
What you’ll stream – content ideas + how often you’ll go live
If you hit those four points clearly, you’re already ahead of most people. 🚀
Word-for-Word BIGO Audition Scripts 📝
Short & simple script (30–40 seconds)
You can read this directly:
“Hi, my name is [Your Name], and my BIGO ID is [Your ID].I’m auditioning for The Honey Hive Talent Agency.Today is [Month Day, Year], and the current time is [HH:MM] [Your Time Zone]. On BIGO, my content will focus on [for example: chatting, storytimes, games, music, makeup, cooking, studying, etc.].I plan to stream around [X] days per week, usually in the [morning/afternoon/evening]. I’m excited to join BIGO and connect with new people.”
Script with more personality (45–60 seconds)
“Hey BIGO, my name is [Your Name], and my BIGO ID is [Your ID].I’m auditioning for The Honey Hive Talent Agency today. Today is [Month Day, Year], and it’s currently [HH:MM] [Your Time Zone]. A little bit about me: I’m from [City/Country], and I love [a couple interests – for example: music, makeup, gaming, cooking, mom life, etc.].On BIGO, I plan to stream [number] days per week. My content will focus on [chatting / games / singing / storytime / cooking / vibing with music / etc.]. I’m excited to grow my community here, make new friends, and hit my monthly targets with the help of my agency.”
✔️ Just swap the [brackets] with your info and say it in your own style. If you mess up a word, keep going — it’s okay to sound human. 💁🏽♀️
Do’s & Don’ts During Your Audition ✅❌
Do: ✅
Speak clearly and slowly
Smile at least once 😊
Look at the camera a few times
Keep your phone steady (use books, a stand, or a tripod)
Aim for 30–60 seconds – short, clear and confident
Don’t: ❌
Don’t drive during your audition
Don’t have lots of people, kids or strangers in your frame
Don’t blast loud music or TV in the background
Don’t use heavy filters that completely change your face
Don’t break any BIGO rules (nudity, hate, drugs, etc.)

What Happens After You Submit Your Audition? ⏱
After you send your video to your agency and they upload it to BIGO:
BIGO usually reviews your audition and responds to the agency within 48 hours.
Your agency will:
Check your result
Tell you if you passed
Send your next steps, pay chart and monthly targets 💸
If you don’t pass the first time, it might be because of:
Poor lighting
Bad audio
Missing details (you forgot your ID or date/time)
Too much noise or activity in the background
Most of the time you can fix those things, re-record a stronger video, and re-audition with your agency’s help. You’re not “failing” — you’re just adjusting. 💪
If You’re Shy, Read This 💛
If talking to your camera feels weird:
Practice your script once or twice in your regular camera app
Pretend you’re talking to one person, not the whole internet
Keep your script where you can see it
Remember: the audition is only 30–60 seconds. You’ve done harder things.
BIGO isn’t looking for perfection. They’re looking for real people who are willing to show up and grow. 🌱
Note for region (North America)
This audition process is based on Honey Hive’s onboarding flow for BIGO Live hosts in North America (Canada & the USA). Other regions and agencies may have slightly different steps or timelines.
