BIGO LIVE Agency vs Going Solo: How Official Hosts Earn More (2026)
You can download BIGO LIVE today and go live in minutes. So why do so many streamers join a BIGO LIVE agency? Because only official hosts, who audition through an agency, can earn from BIGO's monthly pay chart. Here's how going solo compares to becoming an official host, with real numbers.
Going solo on BIGO LIVE
Going solo is simple: download the app, create an account and go live. There's no audition. The catch is that you only earn the cash value of the beans your viewers send you. On BIGO, 210 beans equals $1 USD.
What is an official BIGO LIVE host?
An official host is a streamer who has auditioned through a BIGO LIVE agency. Once you pass, you get access to the monthly pay chart for your region. That means you earn agency pay on top of your beans every month you hit your hour and bean targets.
In North America, official hosts also get a square badge with the USA and Canadian flags on their profile, plus extra badges as they grow. Viewers can see at a glance that you're the real deal.
Solo vs official host: the real difference in pay
Say you receive 10,000 beans in a month and stream 30 hours.
| Going solo | Official host |
Value of 10,000 beans | $47.62 | $47.62 |
Pay chart bonus (30 hours + 10,000 beans) | $0 | $100 |
Total for the month | $47.62 | $147.62 |
Same beans, same hours, about three times the pay. That's the power of being an official host.
How high can the BIGO pay chart go?
The North America pay chart is monthly. Tiers start at 5,000 beans and go all the way up to 8 million beans. At the top tier, the pay chart pays $64,000 USD, on top of about $38,000 in bean value. That's over $100,000 in a single month.
Most new hosts start in the lower tiers, and that's normal. The point is that every tier you reach adds agency pay that solo streamers never see.
